B. Scope of WorkThe Deck Officer will be posted on various barges for on-site review (on behalf of ONGC) of the approved anchor pattern. In case of any non-feasibility, suggest changes to ONGC base for approval.On-site monitoring of the execution of the approved anchor-handling plan, including, but not limited to, witnessing of: the anchor Holding Capacity Tests; In position Survey(s); Post installation Survey(s); and Post Retrieval Survey(s).Ensure safe positioning/anchoring of barges/vessels when not engaged in construction/other project related activities.Actual position of anchors with respect to the approved anchor pattern to be submitted to ONGC on weekly basis.Supervise & ensure the implementation of ONGCs Anchor Handling Policy 2011(Attached as Annex A) on board the barge and submit weekly compliance report to base/ Marine Survey.Any anchor drag or any violations of ONGC anchor policy 2011 will be reported to base by the Deck Officer immediately.Ensure compliance of ONGCs Marine Operations Manual.Any other jobs as assigned by ONGC as deemed necessary for improvement in safety of offshore operations.Keep constant watch for any symptoms of anchor drag & initiate remedial actions.C.
