Key ResponsibilitiesTesting & Inspection: Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI/MPT) on various components such as castings, forgings, machined parts, and structural welds using methods like Yoke, Coil, or Bench types (Wet and Dry particle testing).Defect Interpretation: Interpret and evaluate test results based on flux leakage indications. Distinguish between actual relevant defects (cracks, porosity, lack of fusion) and non-relevant indications.Pre & Post-Processing: Ensure proper surface preparation of components prior to testing (cleaning, degreasing). Oversee post-test cleaning, rust prevention, and demagnetization procedures.Equipment Calibration: Regularly set up, calibrate, and check the performance of MPI equipment, UV lights, and magnetic field indicators (Pie gauges) to maintain inspection accuracy.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous inspection logs. Key ResponsibilitiesDimensional Measurement: Perform layout inspections, first-article inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final inspections on engineering components using standard precision instruments.Instrument Operation: Expertly handle manual and digital measuring tools including Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Slip Gauges, and Bevel Protractors.Advanced Equipment Setup: Set up and operate advanced metrology equipment such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Profile Projectors, or 2D/3D digital measurement systems (based on plant infrastructure).Blueprint Reading: Read, interpret, and accurately analyze complex engineering drawings, machining blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols (such as concentricity, flatness, runout, and perpendicularity).Defect Segregation & Reporting: Identify out-of-tolerance parts, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and ensure defective materials are immediately tagged and segregated from the production line.Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed inspection reports, maintain first-article inspection records, and compile quality data for traceability and client submission.Calibration Support: Regularly verify the accuracy and calibration status of all handled measuring instruments before beginning inspection shifts.

Key ResponsibilitiesWelding Operations: Perform high-quality welding based on project requirements. Common methods include:MIG (GMAW): For high-speed production and structured steel work.TIG (GTAW): For high-precision, clean welds on stainless steel (SS) and aluminum.Arc/Stick (SMAW): For heavy structural steel or maintenance work.Blueprint & WPS Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to determine dimensions, joint designs, and welding positions.Fabrication & Fit-up: Measure, cut, and align metal pieces using clamps, fixtures, and jigs prior to welding. Tack-weld parts to hold alignment.Material Preparation: Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, brushing, or beveling edges to ensure optimal weld penetration and prevent defects like porosity or slag inclusion.Quality & Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to ensure they are free of cracks, undercut, or excessive splatter. Meet structural and cosmetic shop standards.Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks on welding machines, gas regulators, torches, and cables.
