perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc. Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.

- Operating and maintaining VMC machines: Responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings.- Ensuring quality control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making adjustments to the machine settings as needed.- Reading engineering drawings: Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings to set up the VMC machine correctly and produce parts accurately.- Tooling maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the VMC machine.- Following safety protocols: Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations at the workplace.Required Skills and Expectations:- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.- 0-5 years of experience operating VMC machines.- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.- Strong attention to detail and quality control.- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes.- Ability to work well in a team environment.- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
