We are seeking a VMC Setter to join our team in Peenya 2nd Stage, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a diploma and 3 to 9 years of relevant experience to ensure precise machining processes.nnKey responsibilities include setting up and operating vertical machining centers (VMC) to produce components according to specifications. This requires a deep understanding of technical drawings and the ability to select appropriate tooling and fixtures. The VMC Setter will be responsible for conducting regular inspections on machined parts for quality assurance and making necessary adjustments to maintain standards.nnAdditionally, the role involves troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the machining process. The VMC Setter must be able to identify and resolve problems independently, ensuring minimal downtime in production. Collaboration with team members and adhering to safety protocols are essential aspects of the job.nnCandidates should possess strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of VMC operations. Attention to detail is critical, as is the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE : 1 to 10 YEARS Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in operating VMC machines. Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming, machine setup, and tooling. Strong understanding of machining processes and quality control. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or a related field is preferred. Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality parts with precision and accuracy. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to address machine issues and ensure continuous production.

Ensure all Machine Productivity and Quality of Producing parts. Should be able to read complex drawings, select cutting tools and parameters based on the program. Should have the adequate knowledge of MS Excel to make daily production report to the Shift Supervisor. Should be able to use all relevant measuring instruments. Should have strong technical skill to do setting and programming in VMC machine. Should be able to operate FANUC/HAAS machine control, recording the data and first piece of inspection for each job. Should take responsibility for quality of the products during the manufacturing, final stage and improve the process and involving kaizens and poka-yoke.
