As a lead video editor, you will be responsible for assembling video footage and applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the company.As video has become the best way for communicating a company's message on online platforms, your position will play an important role in our TeamUltimately, as a Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive storyRESPONSIBILITIES* Edit and create creative motion graphics for video deliverables (Social Media videos).* Consistent, high-quality video edits for both short and long-form content.* In-depth understanding of social platforms.* Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industrys best practices to maximize efficiency.* Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music, writing voice-overs, adding graphics, special effects* Follow the company's brand guidelines* Develop an overall video brand messaging strategyREQUIREMENTS* Proven work experience as a Video Editor* Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)* Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio* Ability to work In a Startup environment* Should be passionate about video editing* Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and presentation skill* Creative mind and storytelling skills* A high level of self-motivation, commitment and dedication* organizational and time management skills
