we are looking to hire a talented and experienced video editor to join our startup. as a lead video editor, you will be responsible for assembling video footage and applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the company.

as video has become the best way for communicating a company's message on online platforms, your position will play an important role in our team

ultimately, as a video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story

responsibilities

* edit and create creative motion graphics for video deliverables (social media videos).

* consistent, high-quality video edits for both short and long-form content.

* in-depth understanding of social platforms.

* continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

* inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music, writing voice-overs, adding graphics, special effects

* follow the company's brand guidelines

* develop an overall video brand messaging strategy

requirements

* proven work experience as a video editor

* solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (, lightworks, premiere, after effects and final cut)

* demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio

* ability to work in a startup environment

* should be passionate about video editing

* strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and presentation skill

* creative mind and storytelling skills

* a high level of self-motivation, commitment and dedication

* organizational and time management skills
