Key Responsibilities:- **Operate Heavy Vehicles:** Safely drive and control heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and traffic laws.- **Conduct Vehicle Inspections:** Regularly check vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs to the supervisor.- **Plan Routes:** Use maps and GPS tools to plan efficient driving routes, considering traffic and weather conditions to ensure timely delivery.- **Load and Unload Cargo:** Help in loading and unloading cargo, making sure that it is secured in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit.- **Maintain Records:** Keep detailed records of fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery schedules, ensuring accurate reporting for management review.Required Skills and Expectations:- The candidate must have completed at least the 10th grade and hold a valid heavy vehicle driving license.- 0 to 3 years of driving experience is preferred, but newer drivers are welcome to apply.- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions is essential.- The candidate should possess a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks are necessary for loading and unloading operations.
