Reading blueprintsWelders read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the dimensions of parts to be welded. Setting up componentsWelders set up components for welding by cutting material to match measurements and aligning components with calipers and rulers. WeldingWelders use manual or semiautomatic equipment to weld components in various positions. They also monitor the welding process and adjust heat as needed. RepairingWelders repair holes, seams, and indentations in metal products. They can also repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps. Maintaining equipmentWelders maintain welding equipment and machinery. SafetyWelders should be attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety. They should also be able to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

He/She should have hands on experience with manufacturing tools & equipments.It is expected that he/she can read assembly & wiring drawings.Having an understanding of industry standards.He should have hands on experience with MIG, TIG or laser welding just for welders.Strong written & verbal communication skill.
