They manage shift workers, enforce strict safety protocols, monitor quality control to minimize rejection rates, and coordinate with maintenance for machine upkeep.Key Responsibilities:Production Management: Supervise and coordinate core operations (melting, molding, fettling) to achieve daily output quotasQuality Control: Monitor metal and alloy compositions, ensure product specifications are met, and reduce casting defect rates.Team Leadership: Assign daily tasks, manage shift schedules, handle worker attendance, and train new personnel on foundry best practices.Safety & Compliance: Enforce shop floor discipline and safety regulations regarding liquid metal handling, PPE, and hazard prevention.Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance technicians for troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive upkeep of furnaces and casting equipment.
