The X-Ray Technician at a hospital performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for X-ray exams, positioning them correctly, operating X-ray equipment, and ensuring high-quality images while adhering to radiation safety standards. They explain procedures to patients, monitor them during exams, and maintain accurate imaging records. The X-Ray Technician also conducts regular equipment checks, troubleshoots minor issues, and coordinates with medical staff for timely diagnosis and treatment. 1. Ensure working of OT equipment like anesthesia machine, Heart-lung machine and ventilator equipment2. Maintenance of operation theatre records3. Conduct regular physical verification of all the specialty wise OT equipment 4. Ensure that a proper and regular supply of oxygen and suction is maintained all the time5. Responsible for fumigation of OTs and their documentation6. Ensure working of centralized oxygen piping7. Maintenance of OT temperature and humidity as per the protocols8. Scavenging system for removal of anaesthetic gases9. To verify the functioning of the anaesthesia machine and breathing system10. Checking and confirming all instruments and medicines are in stock and loaded on the trolley for the surgery11. Assists in the patient transfer or shifting from stretcher to the table and also sometimes to and fro from OT to hospital room12. Handling the C-ARM Machines during the surgery13. Assisting the surgeon during the surgical procedure14. Patient monitoring during pre-operative and Post-operative phase15. Assisting the anaesthesiologist in providing drugs, IV fluids, blood transfusion, and preparing drugs.

Performs 2D Echo procedure Receives and validates charges pertaining to CVL tests Explain and instruct patients on procedures to be done Obtains V/S and history Ensures effectiveness of equipment Performs diagnostic/therapeutic procedures as ordered by the doctor Acts as liaison officer between clinic and its diagnostic units Monitor supplies and replenishments Prepares and release results on time Assists clinic staff in the operation of the clinic Produces high-quality imaging by accurately positioning transducer, monitoring display, listening to signals, adjusting beam strength and focus, detecting artifacts that mimic abnormalities, and recording images.
