STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Structural Engineer with proficiency in structural design, finite element analysis (FEA), and the evaluation of load-bearing structures. The ideal candidate will hold an M-Tech in Structural Engineering and possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience working in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of mechanical structures in various projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities: Structural Design & Analysis: Perform design, analysis, and validation of mechanical structural components, including load-bearing structures, using advanced engineering principles. Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Utilize FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.) to conduct stress, strain, and vibration analysis of mechanical structures, ensuring optimal performance and safety under operational loads. Load Bearing Structures: Design and evaluate load-bearing structures such as platforms, frames, and supports to ensure they meet the required strength, stability, and fatigue resistance in the oil and gas sector. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with other engineering teams, project managers, and clients to provide technical support and ensure seamless integration of structural designs with other engineering disciplines. Material Selection and Specification: Recommend materials for structural components, considering strength, weight, corrosion resistance, and cost-effectiveness in harsh environments. Code Compliance: Ensure that all structural designs comply with relevant international codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, AISC, etc.). Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design calculations, drawings, and models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry best practices.
