This individual will be part of the R & D and engineering department and work closely with Production to design fans and exhaust systems. Location - Gurgaon (Work from office profile)Must to have for Mechanical Designer- Solid Edge- (Furnace and Fired Heaters) experience of 10 years+Roles and ResponsibilitiesBe responsible to produce mechanical equipment layouts, models, and drawings in accordance with project requirementsUndertake detail model with the view to cutting fabrication drawings.Work on projects involving Furnace and/or Fired HeatersInterpret the plant PFDs, P&IDs, and plant battery limits and constraintsPerform conceptual layout work as well as check drawings prior to releaseDevelop design details of standard design elementsCarry out 3D equipment modelingGenerate 2D drawings from the 3D model as required by the projectPerform the design and drafting of mechanical plant models using applicable standards, project technical specifications and enterprise or project procedures.Be responsible for executing designs following the mechanical and layout design criteria developedUse vendor data, drawings, and information to develop and verify the modelCreate and maintain check sheets for all equipment as vendor data is received.
