Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end interior design projects from concept development to final execution.Meet clients to understand design requirements, preferences, budgets, and project objectives.Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning layouts, and presentation materials.Prepare detailed drawings, working plans, 3D visualizations, and design specifications.Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories.Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and project management teams.Supervise project execution to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.Conduct site visits and resolve design or execution-related issues.Review project budgets, timelines, and procurement requirements.Mentor and guide junior designers and support team members.Stay updated on emerging design trends, materials, and industry best practices.

Core Responsibilities1. Design and DocumentationLead Concept Development: Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior design concepts that align with the client's vision and project objectives.Space Planning: Develop effective and efficient space plans, furniture layouts, and overall design schemes.Material Selection and Specification: Select, specify, and procure furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), as well as materials, finishes, and color schemes, ensuring they meet the design intent, budget, and durability requirements.Technical Documentation: Oversee and develop detailed design drawings, construction documents, 3D renderings, and specifications using CAD/BIM software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes and regulations.Quality Control: Conduct regular design reviews to maintain the highest standards of design quality and creativity throughout the project lifecycle.2. Project Management and CoordinationProject Oversight: Manage all aspects of the design process, from initial client consultation and brief development through construction administration (CA) and final project handover.Budget and Timeline Management: Manage and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary design point of contact and coordinate seamlessly with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and external consultants.Site Visits: Conduct site inspections and factory inspections as needed to oversee project progress and ensure the successful execution of design concepts.3. Client and Business DevelopmentClient Relationship Management: Work closely with clients to define project requirements, present design proposals (including mood boards and presentations), obtain approvals, and maintain strong, positive relationships.Presentation Skills: Effectively articulate design ideas, technical decisions, and project status updates to clients and senior management.Business Support: Contribute to business development efforts, proposal creation, and fee development as required.4.
