Department: R&D / Production / Technical ServicesLocation: Vile-Bhagad MIDC, Tal: Mangaon, Dist: Raigad, MaharashtraSalary: Best in the IndustryExperience: Minimum 3-8 Years (preferred in rubber compounding and product development)Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Polymer Engineering / Rubber Technology / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering (with Rubber Industry experience)Role Objective:Lead end-to-end rubber product development, process standardization, production consistency, quality improvement, and cost optimization while ensuring customer and manufacturing requirements are achieved.Key Requirements:- Degree/Diploma in Rubber Technology / Polymer Engineering / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.- Experience in rubber compounding, formulation development, and manufacturing process control.- Hands-on experience in developing products from: Concept, Compound formulation, Prototype, Validation, Production scale-up, Commercial manufacturing.- Strong knowledge of: Natural Rubber (NR), EPDM, Development of sponge items viz. Gaskets etc.- Understanding of: Mixing and compounding, Extrusion, Compression molding, Vulcanization / curing systems.- Experience in compound optimization for performance and cost reduction.Key Responsibilities:Product Development:- Develop new rubber compounds and finished products as per customer requirements.- Optimize formulation for performance, manufacturability, and commercial viability.- Conduct trials, validation, and product qualification.Production Consistency:- Ensure consistent production output through process monitoring and standardization.- Control batch-to-batch variation and improve process capability.- Establish manufacturing parameters and process controls.Cost Saving & Continuous Improvement:- Drive cost reduction through compound optimization, alternative raw material qualification, yield improvement, waste and rejection reduction, and productivity enhancement.- Lead value engineering initiatives.Quality & Testing:- Define acceptance criteria and quality standards.- Analyze product failures and implement corrective actions.- Review and approve inspection and test reports.Employment Type: Full-Time
