A ticketing officer's job is to help customers plan their trips by providing information, making reservations, and selling tickets:Provide information: Answer questions about travel arrangements, such as routes, schedules, fares, and travel policiesMake reservations: Confirm reservations and make other arrangements, such as car bookingsSell tickets: Calculate expenses and sell tickets to passengersHandle customer inquiries: Resolve ticketing issues and handle customer complaintsMaintain records: Keep accurate records of transactions and customer interactionsCoordinate with others: Collaborate with team members to improve the ticketing processRe-book tickets: Re-book tickets and other arrangements if passengers change their schedulesTicketing officers may work for airlines, bus companies, railroads, or cruise lines.
