We are seeking dedicated Ramp Agents to contribute to the efficient operation of aircraft. As a Ramp Agent, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate various under-wing activities, including overseeing record keeping, handling baggage, and coordinating aircraft movement between gates.You will be responsible for loading and unloading luggage from aircraft, delivering baggage to passengers, and providing cabin maintenance services as required. Working closely with a small team, your ultimate goal will be to ensure that aircraft are thoroughly cleaned and properly maintained, allowing for smooth take-offs and landings within the designated schedule.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload arriving and departing aircraft cargo, baggage and mail onto carts and/or dolliesProvide special handling of baggage, cargo and mail as requiredCollect, load and unload live animals and dangerous goods on and off aircraft when necessaryDeliver passenger baggage to the claim area and unload baggage onto the conveyor systemPerform cabin maintenance and cleaning services, including restocking the aircraftComply with all airport authority and carrier security requirements, including adhering to Swissport Standard Operating ProceduresReport all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisorRequirements and skillsProven work experience as a Ramp Agent or similar roleKnowledge of proper lifting techniques when handling heavy objectsExperience working with live animals and other dangerous goodsWorking knowledge of airport safety proceduresStrong teamwork and communication skillsGreat physical fitness and strengthSuperb time managementAbility to endure tough working conditionsRelevant training and/or certifications as a Ramp Agent.
