he role of Lead QA/QC Engineer for a Government Construction Project is a critical role that is responsible for leading and coordinating the quality assurance and quality control activities for a specific government construction project. The Lead QA/QC Engineer will work closely with the project team to ensure that the project is completed to the required quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement project quality management plans, procedures, and processes.Coordinate with the project team to ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.Provide guidance and direction to the QA/QC team and other project staff.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that construction work is carried out in compliance with the approved plans and specifications.Review and approve contractor's quality control plans, procedures, and processes.Conduct inspections and tests to verify compliance with design and construction requirements.Manage the non-conformance report system and ensure timely resolution of all issues.Review and approve quality-related documents, including design drawings, calculations, and specifications.Provide regular quality reports to the project team, including the government officials and other stakeholders.Identify and manage project quality risks, including design, construction, and safety risks.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, with at least 5 years of experience in managing large government construction projects.Strong technical skills in quality assurance and quality control, including experience in using quality management software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with other stakeholders
