Job Description:Initial Assignment - Shadow TeachingAssist a child (client diagnosed with Autism or ADHD, Learning disability, etc) in his/herschool (during school hours) with targeted intervention strategies to improve skills in thedomains of behavior, concentration, academic & social skills. Also prepare goals, plans andmonthly progress report to insure progress graph of the child.Daily report will be sent to parents regarding the behavior & performance of child at schooland the intervention strategies used by the shadow teacher. Job does NOT entail managingphysical limitations of children (wheelchair, etc.) The client assigned will study at a schoollocated near the candidate's residence to allow easy travel.Intensive training will be provided by the company initially to ensure that the chosen candidateis up to the mark in terms of attributes required to be a good Therapist /Counselor for specialchildren.Later assignment - One on one Remedial/Therapy/Counseling sessionAfter observing shadow assignment, based on employees performance and skill sets, she willbe given additional assignment such as Remedial/Therapy/Counseling sessions. Education - M. A. Clinical Experience - 3 to 5+ Years ( RCI approved psychologist profferedSkills - Being responsible for providing diagnostics assessments, therapy, counselling and support services.- Making assessments and interpretations based on psychometric tests, semi-structured interviews and therapy sessions.- Collaborating with other healthcare providers to evaluate the medical and physical condition of clients.- Formulating and creating personalized interventions, treatments, andmanagement plans for clients.-Assessing clients' risk, considering their mental health and social needs whenperforming interventions.- Interacting with clients and other parties regarding performing interventions.-Employing various treatment methods such as psychotherapy, hypnosis, behaviour modification, stress reduction therapy, and psychodrama.-Measuring the effectiveness of interventions and implementing changeswhere required.- Ensuring the maintenance and safe storage of accurate program and clientrecords, and all other pertinent documents.- Maintaining confidentiality of clients treatment and records in accordance with HIPAA.
