We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to join our team in Chennai. This role involves supporting our purchasing and inventory management processes in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will possess a degree and have 0 to 6 years of relevant experience.Key responsibilities include sourcing materials and supplies required for production efficiently and maintaining accurate purchase records. The Purchase Engineer will also communicate with suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure timely delivery. Regular inventory checks will be necessary to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Additionally, the role may involve some administrative duties related to purchase orders and invoicing.To excel in this role, candidates should have strong communication skills and a solid understanding of purchasing and supply chain principles. Proficiency in computer software for inventory management and data analysis is expected. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate records and achieving effective negotiations with suppliers. Familiarity with manufacturing processes will provide an advantage.The position requires working from the office in Chennai, with a standard work schedule comprising regular business hours. Immediate joiners are preferred, and candidates must be male per the job specifications. Applicants should be willing to conduct on-site visits to suppliers and will need a valid driving license for any fieldwork activities associated with procurement tasks.

Generating various MIS reports. Follow-up End-to End process of Procurement and Supply Chain Capable of getting timely ERP module updates Responsible for the procurement of Aviation spare parts from various OEMs/ suppliers /sites. POL sourcing Source and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for the Aviation Industry. Compile and analyse statistical data to help determine prospects of buying products and to help establish price objectives. Consult with suppliers and learn to analyse suppliers operations and determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required deadlines. Evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, recommend suppliers, follow up orders placed, verify deliveries, approve payments, and maintain necessary documentation. Develop and maintain good business relations with internal and external customer base. Requirement: Bachelors or Masters. Preference to Mechanical EngineeringFreshers and Preferred Experience in Procurement from the mechanical /automobile/ aviation /Industry /can apply Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite/ ERP module functions. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Accurate and precise attention to detail Organized and able to effectively evaluate and prioritize workload Individual and Team performer. Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

Coordinating with existing vendors and sourcing new vendors depending on requirementFollowing up with Vendors on the Purchase follow-upFinalizing freights with Shipping Companies,Organizing the Logistics in ensuring the smooth execution of the shipment,Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures.Maintains a database that tracks Vendors.Performs other duties as assigned
