- Responsible for picking items from designated locations in the warehouse based on order sheets or electronic systems. This involves locating the correct products, verifying quantities, and ensuring accuracy in selection.- Packing items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transportation. This includes using appropriate packing materials, boxes, and protective measures as needed.- Processing orders by scanning items, updating inventory systems, and preparing packages for shipment. Attention to detail is crucial to avoid errors in order fulfillment.- Collaborating with team members to prioritize orders, meet deadlines, and maintain a smooth flow of operations in the warehouse. Communication skills are essential for coordinating tasks effectively.- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area to ensure a safe and productive environment. Key Responsibilities:Assisting with Daily Operations: Help team members with various tasks to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operation of the department or production line.Material Handling: Transport and organize materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.Equipment Assistance: Assist machine operators, technicians, or other workers in setting up, operating, or maintaining equipment.Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness of work areas, machinery, and tools, following safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination.Packaging and Sorting: Assist in packaging finished goods or sorting materials for distribution.Loading and Unloading: Help with loading/unloading materials or finished products to and from trucks or storage areas.Support to Supervisors/Technicians: Follow instructions from supervisors or skilled technicians to carry out specialized tasks.Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Performing Miscellaneous Tasks: Assist with miscellaneous tasks that may arise, such as fetching materials, moving objects, or helping in the warehouse.Qualifications:No formal education required, though basic literacy and numeracy skills are preferred.Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials (may include heavy lifting).Attention to detail and willingness to learn.Basic knowledge of safety procedures.
