Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Maintenance:Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utilities (like compressors, boilers, HVAC, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems).Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and implement root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.Process & Production Optimization:Assist in production planning and control (PPC) to ensure manufacturing targets are achieved smoothly.Implement continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM) to enhance shop-floor efficiency and minimize downtime.Design & Development (If applicable to the specific domain):Read, interpret, and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Collaborate on the installation and commissioning of new machinery and capital equipment (CAPEX).Quality & Safety Compliance:Ensure all mechanical processes and finished products comply with international quality standards (like ISO 9001).Enforce a strict culture of industrial safety and environmental compliance across the plant.

Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Design & Analysis: Conceptualizing and designing mechanical parts or systems using CAD software and performing stress, heat, or fluid analysis.Production Oversight: Coordinating the manufacturing process, from raw material selection to final assembly, ensuring high-quality output.Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conducting preventive maintenance on heavy machinery (CNC, VMC, pumps, conveyors) to minimize downtime and repair costs.Process Optimization: Implementing Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma techniques to reduce waste and increase production speed.Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and ensuring all equipment meets safety and environmental regulations.Project Management: Managing mechanical projects from feasibility study through to installation and commissioning.
