Handover and take charge of shift. Assign work duties, and responsibilities of equipment to the staff nurses. Provide guidance to the staff nurse for patient care. Ensure up-keep and repair of linen and ward equipment. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the ward. Accompany the consultants/senior staff in their rounds and ensure the implementation of their instructions. Check the patient bills and send to the finance department. Check and maintain all the admission and discharge register. Patient and Family Education. Ensure that the patient's reports are complete and dispatch them to the medical records department.
