Nursing Staff - Any Graduate

Evaluate and monitor the patients progress. Administer medications by routes of intravenous injection, intramuscular injection, gastric tubes, sublingual, transdermal, subcutaneous, and by mouth (PO). Prepared to deliver intensive care in case of health emergencies, like sudden cardiac arrest or road accident etc. Monitors a patient's vital signs, including oxygen levels, respiratory rate, blood pressure, temperature and pulse rate. Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patients medical condition. Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members. Begin treatment and monitor doses. If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors. Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit. Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient. Maintain patient records. Create and implement effective care plans.

Ensure preparation of the material and equipment in the OT, receive patients and take them from the preparation room to the OT, making sure they are ready for surgery Assist the the vital parameters of the patient Organize patient transportation surgeon and anesthetist during the operation, anticipating their needs in order to facilitate their job; with the nurse anesthetist, monitor from the OT to the recovery room and carry-out and/or supervise all the postoperative activities to prepare the OT for the next scheduled operation or emergency Implement the hygiene, sterilization, asepsis and disinfection protocols and procedures at all times, before, during and after operations, to ensure the safety conditions of patients and staff Supervise and train the nurse aides and cleaners while in the OT, following MSF protocols Control all equipment and material stock used in the OT to ensure efficient and rational use of material. To provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. On a rotational basis, perform all nursing related work with at most courtesy, dignity & empathy toward Patients. To provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with doctors. To Maintain stock of all required injections/drugs in the department. To supervise the daily clinical management of all patients in conjunction with the nurse team leaders and under the guidance of consultants and attend all post operative patients on day of operation and every day following. To discuss medication on discharge with patients, provide health education and write a discharge summary if requested. To assist in the day-to-day functions at the hospital and any other reasonable tasks, within their level of experience, requested by the hospital. Maintain records of usage/supply of injections/drugs/equipment, for audit purposes.
