Key Responsibilities:Network Monitoring:Monitor network performance and health using network monitoring tools.Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime.Incident Management:Identify and diagnose network issues, and coordinate with other IT teams to resolve incidents.Escalate issues to appropriate teams or vendors if necessary.Troubleshooting:Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of network-related problems.Analyze logs and network traffic to identify and resolve issues.Maintenance and Upgrades:Implement routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and firmware upgrades.Plan and execute network infrastructure upgrades as needed.Documentation:Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.Update knowledge base articles to assist with incident resolution.Security Monitoring:Monitor network security alerts and respond to security incidents.Collaborate with the security team to implement and enforce security policies.Performance Optimization:Analyze network performance data and implement measures to optimize performance.Collaborate with other teams to improve the overall efficiency of the network.Collaboration:Collaborate with other IT teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and security professionals.Participate in cross-functional teams to address complex issues.Reporting:Generate and distribute reports on network performance, incidents, and resolutions.Provide insights and recommendations for improving network reliability.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a NOC Engineer or in a similar network monitoring role.Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant certifications are often preferred.Proficiency in network monitoring tools and incident management systems.Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies
