Job Title : MEPF Cost Engineer Responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes preparing cost estimates, budgets, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. The QS will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cost Estimation and Planning 2. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. 3. Analyze architectural, HVAC, Electrical and PHEF drawings and specifications to develop accurate project costings. 4. Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Cost Control and Management: 1. Monitor project costs to ensure adherence to the budget. 2. Conduct cost analysis and perform risk and value management. 3. Advise on procurement strategy and select the appropriate procurement route. Financial Reporting: 1. Prepare regular financial statements and reports on project performance. 2. Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes. 3. Conduct financial forecasting to predict future project costs. Site Visits and Inspections: 1. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards. 2. Measure and value the work done on-site, including variations and changes. Collaboration and Communication: 1. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders. 2. Attend project meetings and provide financial input and advice. 3. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all parties involved in the project. Educational Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, PHEF Engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:1. Building Operations Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of MEP systems across different building types.2. MEP System Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal performance.3. OEM Negotiation: Handle procurement and negotiation with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for cost-effective solutions.4. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to enhance system efficiency.5. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all MEP operations adhere to industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.6. Team Leadership: Manage and guide the engineering team to improve operational efficiency.Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field. 5-15 years of experience in MEP operations and maintenance. Strong troubleshooting skills for MEP systems. Experience in negotiating with OEMs and vendors. Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Technical and design knowledge preferable with latest methodologies.Responsibilities and DutiesDesign Engineering, PMC & Evaluation of Plumbing, Fire fighting, Drainage and Sanitation systems for commercial, residential and industrial projects.Site visit to get the complete idea of the project.Coordinating with clients, Architects, Vendors to get complete details for the project.Designing the plumbing, firefighting, layout for the given project and coordination with electrical design.Review claims, MEP variations, Testing and Commissioning process and preparation and review of monthly invoices for client and subcontractors.Designing the piping, duct layouts etc.Preparation of the detail BOQ as per the drawings.Qualifications and SkillsBE/Diploma (Civil & Mechanical).Past work experience in MEP, Plumbing, Fire fighting & Drainage system is essential.Able to deliver within time lines and with minimum supervision/check/controls.Sound PC skills at MS Office.AutoCad & Vendor knowledge is essential.
