Job Description for Live Medical ScribeJob ProfilePosition: Live Medical ScribeLocation: Mohali, PunjabJob Mode and Type: On-site, Full-timeShift Timings: Night Shift (US Time Zones)Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experienceNotice Period: Immediate Joiners PreferredJob ResponsibilitiesAccompany physicians virtually in real time during patient visits to document patient-provider interactions directly into the Electronic Health Record (EHR)Record dictated patient history, physical examination, review of systems, and other relevant medical information during live encountersUpdate and maintain accurate patient health records, including lab results, imaging, and follow-up documentationPrepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians prior to and during patient appointmentsEnsure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with HIPAA and healthcare facility policiesMonitor and document test results, referrals, and follow-up instructions as directed by the providerFacilitate real-time communication between provider and patient, ensuring all notes and orders are accurately capturedSupport providers in improving workflow efficiency and reducing administrative burdenNo transcription of recorded audio; all documentation is performed live during patient encountersPerform additional clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support provider productivityEligibility CriteriaMinimum 3 years of experience in live medical scribing (not transcription or recorded scribing)Excellent English communication skills; US accent preferredFast and accurate typing skills (60+ words per minute preferred)Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts) and medical documentation softwareStrong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflowAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, live clinical environmentUnderstanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulationsBachelors degree in health sciences, pre-med, life sciences, or related field preferred.
