Hiring Mechanical engineer - EstimationExperience: 1- 10 yrsLocation: Kombodijamakkal, Chalakudy, Thrissur, KeralaIndustry: EPC - Mining, Steel, CementThe position will be based in Kerala and primarily responsible for project estimations and enabling the company to win the projects and execute within budget.The target customers are mainly cement, steel, mining, aluminum, etc. with major emphasis for projects on bulk material handling systems, pollution control systems, heavy duty power transmission systems, on EPC basis.Job responsibilities.Get realistic inputs from customer inquiries through discussions/site visit by local sales/project teamDevelop workable concept with best operational excellence and good engineering practices, on-table discussion with rest of the team to optimize the conceptSplitting the concepts to component level and estimation of all functions of the project, as accurately as possibleRisk analysis of the project and covering the same by developing adequate specific terms and conditionsSubmitting the proposals in a clear and concise manner to customer, expressing our specialties and advantageous for customers to win over the competitionParticipate in technical meetings/clarifications/negotiations and win the project, while ensuring the financial goals of the companyTransfer the project details to engineering team and assist them in developing the project in detail.

1. **Quality Assurance:**- Conduct inspections and quality checks on machined parts to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards.- Perform in-process inspections at various stages of manufacturing to identify and address quality issues promptly.2. **Quality Control:**- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to maintain consistency in product quality.- Monitor and maintain measurement equipment, including calibration, to ensure accuracy.3. **Root Cause Analysis:**- Investigate and identify the root causes of non-conformance or defects and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).4. **Documentation:**- Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections, test results, and quality-related documentation.- Prepare quality reports and provide data-driven insights to improve manufacturing processes.5. **Supplier Quality:**- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials and components meet quality standards.- Conduct supplier audits and assessments as needed.

Company Policy:1. Total 6 months probation period (2 months training period + 4months working)2. Every year depends upon performance level salary increment will be there.Working time:Shift No. 1 - Morning: 9.30 to 06.30.
