Responsibilities:1. Equipment and Facility Maintenance:o Oversee maintenance and upkeep of paint shop equipment, including spraybooths, paint guns, drying ovens, and ventilation systems.o Schedule regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to minimizedowntime and ensure operational efficiency.4. Safety and Compliance:o Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relatedto paint application and handling of hazardous materials.o Promote and enforce safe work practices, including proper handling anddisposal of paint materials and chemicals.5. Team Leadership and Development:o Lead, train, and supervise a team of paint shop technicians and operators.o Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvementwithin the paint shop team.6. Inventory and Resource Management:o Manage inventory levels of paints, coatings, solvents, and related materials tosupport production schedules and minimize waste.o Optimize resource utilization, including labor, materials, and equipment, toachieve cost-effective production outcomes.7. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:o Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvementswithin the paint shop.o Implement lean manufacturing principles, 5S methodology, or othercontinuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
