Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Drafting: Assist senior engineers in creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical parts, assemblies, and products using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo). Ensure drawings adhere to engineering standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Analysis and Testing Support: Conduct basic engineering analysis, such as stress, strain, and thermal analysis, often using CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) tools. Participate in prototyping and testing new designs to validate performance and reliability.Documentation: Create and maintain engineering documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), technical specifications, and design reports. Ensure all design files are correctly managed and archived.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and purchasing, to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.Problem Solving: Participate in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues that arise during manufacturing, assembly, or product testing.Research: Conduct research on new materials, components, and design technologies to support continuous improvement efforts.
