Job SummaryThe Avionics Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of aircraft electronic systems. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operation of avionics equipment including communication, navigation, surveillance, and flight control systems. Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills:Strong knowledge of communication, navigation, surveillance, autopilot, and flight control systems.Expertise in embedded systems, digital/analog electronics, and circuit design.Hands-on experience with avionics protocols (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN bus).Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, PSPICE, Altium, Xilinx, or similar.Knowledge of aviation standards DO-178C, DO-254, RTCA, FAA/EASA guidelines.Soft Skills:Analytical and problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail.Effective communication, teamwork, documentation, and time-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
