We are looking for a VMC Operator to join our team in Hazira, Surat. This role is suitable for individuals with no prior experience up to five years, and an I.T.I. certification is required. The VMC Operator will play a vital role in operating and maintaining vertical machining centers.Key Responsibilities:- Machine Operation: You will be responsible for setting up and operating vertical machining centers. This includes loading materials, selecting tools, and adjusting machine settings to ensure accurate machining of components.- Quality Control: Regularly inspect finished parts for precision and quality. You will use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure compliance with specifications.- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working condition. This involves cleaning, lubricating, and reporting any malfunctions to the maintenance team.- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance. You will also need to log any issues encountered during operation and report them as necessary.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates must possess a basic understanding of machining processes and must be able to read technical drawings. Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring quality output. Effective communication skills are necessary for working within a team environment. Operate CNC Turning machine as per production requirements.Set and adjust tools, workpiece and machine parameters.Read and understand engineering drawings.Check component dimensions using Vernier, Micrometer and other measuring instruments.Maintain required quality and accuracy of components.Follow production targets and work schedules.Carry out basic machine cleaning and maintenance.Follow all safety and workplace procedures.
