The ideal candidate should have between 3 to 7 years of experience in fitting and assembly work and must possess an I.T.I. qualification. This is a full-time position that requires you to work on-site.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Assembly of Components:** You will be responsible for accurately assembling various mechanical parts based on technical drawings and specifications, ensuring that all components fit together correctly.- **Maintenance and Repair:** Regular maintenance and repairs of equipment are crucial. You will diagnose issues and conduct repairs to maintain equipment functionality and safety.- **Quality Control:** Ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards. You will conduct inspections and tests to confirm that items are defect-free and adhere to specifications.- **Collaboration with Team:** Working closely with engineers and other fitters is essential to achieve production goals. Assembly and FittingBlueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and assembly sequences.Metal Shaping: Cut and shape metal components using processes like sawing, chipping, filing, grinding, and drilling.Precision Fitting: File and finish parts to ensure they fit together perfectly, often using a Bench Vice to secure the work.Fastening: Use various fastening methods including nuts and bolts, rivets, studs, and screws to create a complete unit.2. Maintenance and RepairPreventive Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on industrial machinery to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.Fault Finding: Dismantle defective machines to identify worn-out or broken parts and replace them with new or repaired components.Overhauling: Perform complete dismantling and reassembly of machines (like lathes or drills) for deep cleaning and lubrication.3. Measurement and Quality ControlPrecision Measurement: Use instruments like Vernier Callipers, Micrometers, and Dial Indicators to check that finished parts meet strict dimensional requirements.Marking: Use marking tools (scribes, height gauges, and punch marks) to indicate guide lines for cutting or drilling.4.
