This role combines accounting functions with inventory control, ensuring accurate record-keeping of stock movements, reconciling inventory accounts.Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory Accounting:Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including purchases, sales, transfers, day to day accounting. Ensure proper valuation of inventory in accordance with company policies and accounting standards (e.g., FIFO, LIFO). Reconcile inventory accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure consistency with physical stock.2. Stock Reconciliation: Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and accounting records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances in the inventory accounts.3. Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls in relation to inventory management. Review inventory processes to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.4. Inventory Audits: Assist internal and external auditors during inventory audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for inventory transactions. Support in the identification and resolution of inventory-related audit findings.Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Fresher-6 years of experience in accounting, inventory management, or a related role.Technical Skills:Proficiency in accounting software (Advanc Excel, Tally, Jewels Core & Prime, Jwelly ERP etc) for reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.
