Aware of requirements for surface preparation by blasting for CS, SS and Al and tests for the same. Aware of climatic conditions requirements during blasting, surface preparation and painting. Aware of air quality requirements Aware of primer for Al and two main types of primers for carbon steel and their pros and cons. Aware the function of MIOs. Aware of various types of primers, paints and their pros and cons. Aware of paint preparation and application requirements. Aware of how paint coverage is achieved on sharp corners and edges. Aware of post painting tests. Aware of how the gloss of paint film can be improved Preparation of painting quality records at different stages from surface preparation to post painting.
