Hiring For Hydraulic Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Perform hydraulic surge (transient) analysis for Sewage (SWG), Storm Water Drainage (SWD), Irrigation (IRR), and Fire Fighting (FF) systems.

Apply strong technical knowledge of hydraulics to model and evaluate transient conditions across pipeline and pumping networks.

Analyze and solve for maximum and minimum transient pressures across a range of system configurations.

Perform analysis for critical transient scenarios, including power failure/pump trip, pump start followed by stop, and valve closure events.

Perform pump head calculations to support system design and analysis.

Select surge protection devices effectively and efficiently, sizing them to resolve transient pressures in line with AWWA standards, Hydraulic Institution and project-specific requirements.

Select suitable protection devices based on analysis results and system behavior.

Read and interpret project inputs such as layout plans, P&IDs, profile drawings, and technical datasheets.

Deliver clear, accurate technical reports as per project requirements and timelines.

Monitor and guide junior engineers, reviewing their work and providing technical direction.

Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate effectively with internal team members and client associates.

Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex hydraulic design challenges independently.

Proficiency in Bentley Water HAMMER, Bentley WaterGEMS, and AutoCAD.
