Incident Management & Reporting:o Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents to identify causes and recommend corrective actions.o Maintain records of incidents and provide reports to senior management, clients, and regulatory authorities.o Prepare and present periodic safety performance reports and trends.5. Regulatory Compliance:o Ensure compliance with all national and local safety regulations, including but not limited to OSHA, NEBOSH standards, and site-specific safety norms.o Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure that necessary permits and licenses are up to date.o Ensure that the site meets all environmental health and safety (EHS) standards.6. Emergency Response & Risk Mitigation:o Develop and implement emergency response plans for various emergency situations (fire, electrical hazards, medical emergencies, etc.).o Ensure that emergency exits, fire alarms, first-aid kits, and firefighting equipment are readily available and functional.o Coordinate drills and mock evacuation exercises for emergency preparedness.7. Continuous Improvement:o Regularly review safety practices and policies, recommending and implementing improvements.o Stay updated with the latest safety trends, technologies, and industry best practices.o Implement corrective measures for any recurring safety issues or non-compliance.Key Requirements: Education:o B. The employee trains employees and lower-grade safety staff in specific program requirements.
