Key ResponsibilitiesPreventative Maintenance: Perform routine checks and servicing on electrical distribution boards, transformers, motors, generators, and industrial machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns.Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, and components using testing equipment (like multimeters and insulation testers) to locate and fix the root cause of the problem.Panel Wiring & Layout: Read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), blueprints, and schematics to wire up control panels, circuit breakers, and switches accurately.Component Replacement: Replace faulty electrical components including relays, contactors, sensors, fuses, switches, and timers on the shop floor or facility premises.New Installations: Lay out electrical wiring, conduits, and cable trays for new machinery installations or office/factory expansions according to standard safety regulations.Breakdown Logging: Maintain a clear record of daily electrical breakdowns, spare parts consumed, and preventive maintenance actions taken in the logbook.Safety Adherence: Strictly follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all high-voltage and low-voltage electrical interventions.
