The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and emotional support to patients throughout their fertility journey, from initial consultation to post-procedure recovery. This role requires clinical expertise, empathy, and excellent coordination skills within a multidisciplinary team.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care and Monitoring: Conduct initial patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and track patient conditions throughout the treatment cycle.Clinical Assistance: Assist doctors during consultations, gynecological examinations, follicular scans, and procedures such as IUI (Intrauterine Insemination), egg retrieval (OPU), and embryo transfers (ET).Medication Management: Administer IVF-related injections (e.g., FSH, HCG, progesterone) as prescribed and educate patients on medication protocols, dosage, timing, and potential side effects.Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients about treatment plans, procedures, and self-care practices, providing emotional support and a clear understanding of what to expect during a challenging time.Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, ensuring all clinical notes, consent forms, and regulatory documentation (e.g., PCPNDT forms) are completed and filed correctly.OT and Lab Support: Prepare procedure and operation rooms, ensure the availability and sterilization of equipment and instruments, and follow strict infection control protocols as per NABH standards.Coordination and Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, doctors, embryologists, and other staff to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain stock of medications, injections, and consumables, ensuring proper cold chain management for temperature-sensitive drugs.Qualifications and SkillsEducation: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is mandatory.Experience: Prior experience in an IVF center, OT, or gynecology setting is preferred.Knowledge: Sound knowledge of basic nursing procedures, infection control practices, and the IVF treatment cycle/protocols is a plus.Thanks & RegardsPreetiHR DepartmentDr. Sumita Sofat hospital8288827068
