Proficiency and experience in accounting is mandatory.Knowledge of US GAAP is not mandatory as taxation, annual accounts preparation is done by a local CPA. This is an individual contributor as well a team role where the Accountant must independently perform their tasks as well as provide support to the team including the update of the daily tasks.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST compliance, taxation, and daily financial operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring statutory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.Oversee bill entries, vendor payments, and expense tracking.Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) and ensure timely compliance.Handle TDS, income tax, and other statutory tax matters.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Assist with audits and coordinate with external auditors.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Monitor cash flows and support budget preparation.Required Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting roles.Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and tax regulations.Proficient in Tally, Excel, and accounting software.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.
