Bid Management and StrategyOpportunity Sourcing: Proactively monitor government and private sector e-procurement portals, websites, and other sources to identify relevant tender, Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) opportunities.Analysis and Review: Thoroughly analyze tender documents to understand all technical, financial, legal, and operational requirements, risks, and compliance criteria.Go/No-Go Decision: Prepare an objective summary of the tender requirements and internal capability for management review to inform the Go/No-Go decision.Strategy Input: Participate in strategy meetings to define the commercial approach, competitive pricing, and unique value proposition for the bid.2. Proposal Development and CoordinationProject Planning: Develop a detailed bid plan, timeline, and responsibility matrix to manage all stages of the tender process effectively and meet strict deadlines.Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact, coordinating closely with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Legal, Technical/Operations) to gather required technical specifications, financial data, and necessary certifications.Content Creation: Draft, edit, and compile all components of the bid response, ensuring a clear, professional, persuasive, and error-free submission.Compliance Check: Ensure 100% compliance with all tender instructions, mandatory forms, technical specifications, and submission protocols to prevent immediate disqualification.3. Submission, Follow-up, and RecordsFinal Submission: Manage the sign-off process and ensure the timely and accurate submission of the final bid (physically and/or via online portals).Clarifications: Handle pre-bid and post-submission queries, preparing comprehensive responses to tender authorities or clients.Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive and centralized repository of all tender documents, submitted bids, correspondence, and final outcomes for audit and future reference.Performance Tracking: Track key metrics such as bid win rate, tender pipeline, and submission quality, providing regular reports to management.
