Key Responsibilities:1. Production Management:o Plan and schedule metal fabrication activities to meet production goals andtimelines.o Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure availability of materials andresources.o Monitor workflow and adjust schedules as needed to optimize productionefficiency.2. Quality Assurance:o Ensure that all metalwork meets design specifications, quality standards, andaesthetic requirements.o Conduct regular inspections and implement quality control measures tomaintain consistent product quality.o Address any issues related to production quality promptly and effectively.3. Team Leadership:o Supervise, train, and mentor a team of metalworkers, welders, and fabricators.o Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback to ensureproductivity and adherence to safety and quality standards.o Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration,and professional growth.4. Process Improvement:o Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements inmetal fabrication.o Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamlineworkflows and reduce waste.o Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to resolve design-relatedchallenges and improve manufacturability.5. Resource Management:o Manage inventory of metal materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stocklevels for production needs.o Monitor equipment maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtimeand ensure operational readiness.o Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity while controlling costs.6. Safety and Compliance:o Uphold and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the metal shopenvironment.o Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions to promotea culture of safety awareness.o Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards applicableto metalworking operations.Skills and Qualifications: 8 to 10 years exp
