Responsibilities:Machine Operation:Set up and operate PVC cable extrusion machines according to specifications.Adjust machine settings to ensure proper cable thickness, diameter, and other relevant specifications.Material Handling:Prepare raw materials (PVC, plasticizers, stabilizers, fillers, etc.) for the extrusion process.Load materials into the machine hoppers and ensure a continuous supply during operation.Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on extrusion machines to ensure optimal performance.Clean and lubricate equipment as needed to prevent breakdowns and extend machine life.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and machine performance.Report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.Safety and Compliance:Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding cable extrusion.Qualifications:Education:High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.Technical training or certification in machine operation or manufacturing is preferred.Experience:Previous experience in operating extrusion machines or working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Familiarity with PVC materials and cable manufacturing processes is an advantage.
