LtdDepartment: Sales & MarketingLocation: VapiJob Overview:We are looking for a Sales Proposal Engineer / Executive to support our technical sales operations by preparing accurate and competitive proposals for clients in refining, chemical, and essential oil industries. The role involves understanding customer requirements, preparing techno-commercial quotations, coordinating with the engineering team, and ensuring timely submission of tenders and proposals.Key Responsibilities: Prepare technical and commercial proposals for projects like Gold Refining Plants, PGM Refining Systems, and Essential Oil Extraction Units. Study customer inquiries, specifications, and drawings to prepare cost estimates and quotations. Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, and Project teams to finalize technical offers. Communicate with clients to clarify technical and commercial queries. Follow up with customers on proposals, tenders, and negotiation stages. Maintain and update proposal documentation and quotation databases. Prepare cost sheets, BOQs, and scope of supply documents. Support the sales team in pre-bid meetings, tender submissions, and presentations. Prepare and maintain sales reports and assist in achieving company targets.Qualifications & Experience: Education: Diploma / B.E./BSC or related field. Experience: 1-2 years in proposal/sales support or estimation for industrial projects, preferably in refining, process plants, or equipment manufacturing. Skills:o Strong technical understanding of mechanical/process equipment.o Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).o Experience with AutoCAD or plant layout understanding is an advantage.o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.o Strong analytical, cost estimation, and negotiation skills.Key Attributes: Detail-oriented and organized. Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously. Strong teamwork and coordination ability. Customer-focused and proactive approach.

Prepare, review, and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), validation protocols, batch records, and other quality documents.Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, MHRA, WHO, and other regulatory guidelines.Conduct document control activities, including version control, issuance, retrieval, and archiving.Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.Assist in equipment qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) and validation processes.Coordinate with the QA/QC team to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Maintain training records for personnel involved in quality and compliance functions.Monitor and update quality documentation systems to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities of Proposal Engineer1. Carrying out Process Calculations for various Absorbers, Scrubbers and Mass Transfer Equipments.2. Development of Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), Process Datasheet for Equipments.3. Chemical Equation Balance, Mass & Energy Balance Calculations.4. Equipment Sizing calculations for Tanks, Vessel, Absorption Column, Vessels, Pumps, Piping.5. Preparing Estimation & Techno-Commercial Bid for the Requirements.6. Travelling across India & Abroad for attending Technical Review Meetings with Clients & Consultant.7. During Training period, you are expected to execute allocated tasks independently under the guidance of your reporting manager.8. Based on your assessment after completion of your probation period you will be allocated a permanent Position.9.
