ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :- Perform detailed design and engineering- Prepare MTO, equipment datasheets, technical specifications, technical clarifications, post award design activities- Review and approve customer specifications.- Coordinate with clients- Coordinate fabricators and interface disciplineSKILLS REQUIRED :- Through understanding of codes and Standards, if have faced ASME audits that will be an advantage.- Experience in working with engineering consultancies for design and engineering of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Trays and internals, Filters, Strainers, Coalescers, Ejectors, Desuperheaters, Storage Tanks and Spheres per National / International Codes e.g. ASME SEC.VIII DIV.1 / DIV.2, TEMA, PD5500, API:650, API:660, API:661, IS:2825, IS:875, IS:1893, ASCE, IBR and etc.- Industry Type - Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Oil & Gas (preferred)- Equipment handled should cover material of construction of CS, LTCS, SS, CS+Clad, LAS, HAS, NACE MR0175, HIC, etc. for applications with temperature ranging from hot service to cryogenic with special services like Hydrogen, Lethal, Wet Sour, Cyclic, Sea Water and etc.- Shall be well conversant with design software like COMPRESS, CODECALC, PVELITE, TANK, FEA (will be advantageous) and AutoCAD.- Candidate with experience in Column, Internals& External attachments detailing.- Oil & Gas experience will be preferred.- He should be able provide inputs for GA drawing, manufacturing drawings and part drawings etc

Job description3-15 years experience in Design, drawing, planning, Cost Estimation and other fabrication related detailing of Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals process equipments.Job Profile: - Candidate should have good knowledge of design of various Chemical and Pharmaceutical Process Equipments such as heat exchangers, Reactor Vessels, Driers, filtration equipments etc. Candidate should have good knowledge of preparing Bill of Materials(BOM) and bill of quantity (BOQ) preparing the fabrication drawing & planning for fabrication and execution of work. Candidate should have good hands on experience on manual designing and by using softwares. Candidate should have good experience of design codes like ASME, API, TEMA etc. Candidate should have good communication skills with respect to interaction with clients, understanding the challenges of customer and giving correct in time solution. Investigate and undertake analysis on how to improve existing projects or components summarise scientific and engineering principles in an easy to understand manner write technical reports to summarise findings. Identify new systems and processes to drive quality, efficiency and save costs. Plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within the approved budget Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change Design planning, design verification. Monitoring of design changes, overruns, engineering reworks. Preparation of site action reports for engineering errors in design. Site visits for collection of design inputs and review meetings with clients etc. Vendor visits for review meetings and technical discussions. Design automation, weight reduction and cost reduction Training of subordinates.

Control a group of draughts men.-Checking drawings, BOMs. Ensure correctness of the documents prepared.-Preparation of Drawings and BOMs.-Preparation of models using 3D softwares like Autodesk Inventor.-Preparation of piping layouts, piping drawings in AutoCAD / Plant 3D, preparation of piping isometric.-Making Design calculations.-Selection of bought out components.-Co-ordination with manufacturing for discrepancies and deviations.

Educational Qualification: B.tech in ChemicalEngineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with not less than 50% marks.
