Key Responsibilities:Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and servicing equipment to prevent potential failures and extend its lifespan. Corrective Maintenance: Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns promptly and efficiently. Inventory Management: Overseeing the storage, organization, and maintenance of tools, spare parts, and equipment within the maintenance store. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts usage. Safety Compliance: Ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and procedures. Collaboration: Working closely with other engineers, technicians, and production teams to address maintenance needs and improve equipment reliability. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving complex equipment problems, often involving root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Budget Management: Controlling maintenance costs and optimizing resource allocation. Continuous Improvement: Analyzing equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability. Equipment Installation: Installing new equipment and systems as needed. Emergency Response: Responding to urgent maintenance requests and minimizing downtime during breakdowns. Skills Required:Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and potentially other specialized systems relevant to the industry. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions effectively. Key Responsibilities:1. Machine Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission new die casting machines and equipment at client locations. Ensure proper functionality and calibration post-installation.2. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in die casting machines. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and systems. Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal machine performance.3. Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients. Train operators and maintenance staff on equipment operation and upkeep. Create detailed service reports and suggest improvements to enhance machine performance.4. Spare Parts Management: Recommend and manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime. Coordinate with the procurement team for parts requisition.5. Process Optimization: Suggest improvements in die casting processes to enhance production efficiency. Collaborate with the design and production teams to implement new technologies and upgrades.6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
