We are seeking a Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our team in Nashik. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and is committed to maintaining high-quality standards within our processes and products.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Develop and Implement Quality Plans:** Create detailed plans to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations throughout the manufacturing process.- **Conduct Inspections and Tests:** Perform regular inspections and testing of products at various stages to identify defects or issues that need addressing.- **Document Quality Findings:** Maintain accurate records of quality tests and inspections, ensuring all findings are well-documented for future reference and continuous improvement.- **Identify Areas for Improvement:** Analyze data from inspections to pinpoint areas where quality can be enhanced, working closely with the production team to implement changes.- **Collaborate with Engineering Teams:** Work alongside design and engineering teams to suggest design modifications that can improve product quality and reliability.**Required Skills and Expectations:**The successful candidate must possess strong analytical skills to assess quality issues and provide solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesStandards Interpretation: Reviewing and interpreting relevant technical standards (e.g., IS 1293 for plugs/sockets or IEC 60601 for medical devices) to define product requirements.Test Planning & Execution: Designing and overseeing internal pre-compliance tests such as High Voltage (HV) tests, Insulation Resistance, and Thermal/Fire safety tests.Documentation Management: Preparing Technical Files including circuit diagrams, Bill of Materials (BOM), and critical component lists for submission to auditors.Liaison with Authorities: Coordinating with agencies like BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), ERDA, or CPRI for factory audits and sample testing.Non-Conformance (NC) Resolution: Analyzing test failures and working with the Design team to implement hardware changes required to pass certification.Compliance Maintenance: Monitoring changes in global regulations and ensuring that existing product certifications are renewed on time.
