We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Malegaon Nashik. This role requires a skilled professional who will manage various electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:1. **Project Planning and Management**: Develop project plans, specifications, and schedules to guide electrical projects from inception to completion.2. **Design Review**: Evaluate electrical designs and systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements.3. **Site Supervision**: Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical systems at project sites, coordinating with contractors and on-site teams to ensure compliance with plans.4. **Quality Control**: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure all electrical installations are safe, efficient, and meet regulatory requirements.5. **Cost Estimation**: Prepare cost estimates for projects, analyzing expenses to minimize costs while maintaining quality and performance standards.6. **Reporting**: Provide regular updates and reports to management on project progress, challenges, and timelines.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering and 4 to 10 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project management skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings are essential. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are crucial, as successful collaboration with engineers, contractors, and clients is important. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess problem-solving abilities, and adapt to dynamic work environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesStandards Interpretation: Reviewing and interpreting relevant technical standards (e.g., IS 1293 for plugs/sockets or IEC 60601 for medical devices) to define product requirements.Test Planning & Execution: Designing and overseeing internal pre-compliance tests such as High Voltage (HV) tests, Insulation Resistance, and Thermal/Fire safety tests.Documentation Management: Preparing Technical Files including circuit diagrams, Bill of Materials (BOM), and critical component lists for submission to auditors.Liaison with Authorities: Coordinating with agencies like BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), ERDA, or CPRI for factory audits and sample testing.Non-Conformance (NC) Resolution: Analyzing test failures and working with the Design team to implement hardware changes required to pass certification.Compliance Maintenance: Monitoring changes in global regulations and ensuring that existing product certifications are renewed on time.

Evaluating tender documents, drawings, schedules.Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers.Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations.Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies.Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records.Delegating Draftsmen for quantity take offs, cross checking quantities.Pricing for electrical systemsAssisting in compiling of tenders.Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionnaires.
