The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects. The role ensures efficient, safe, and code-compliant electricaldesigns covering power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.Key Responsibilities:1. Electrical System Design (HT/LT):- Collaborate with project teams to understand client requirements and electrical load needs.- Prepare electrical load calculations and power distribution layouts including control schematics.- Design lighting systems, emergency power, grounding & earthing systems, and lightning protection etc.- Selection and sizing of equipment including Transformers, Generators, UPS, Panels, Circuit Breakers, Cables, and Switchgear etc.- Prepare detailed single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring/control schematics, and equipment layouts.- Design of ELV systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Data & Communication).- Carry out HV, LV and EIV with load calculations and system design2.
