Key ResponsibilitiesLead the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of SAP systems across S/4HANA, ECC, HANA, NetWeaver, Fiori, and SolMan environments.Manage full system landscapesSandbox, Development, QA, Production, and DRwith standard Basis operations including system refreshes, transports, support packs, kernel upgrades, and disaster recovery drills.Oversee performance tuning, system monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting to ensure high system availability.Conduct upgrades and migrations, including OS/DB migrations (e.g., HANA, Oracle), security patches, and support packages.Implement and manage SAP Solution Manager for better incident handling, monitoring, and transport management.Manage backup & recovery processes, transport management (TMS), authorization settings, SSO and certificate configuration, and compliance with security standards.Serve as a technical lead, guiding junior consultants, advising stakeholders, assuring quality, and ensuring seamless integration of SAP systems with broader enterprise architecture.Required Qualifications & Experience79 years in SAP Basis administration, with substantial experience across SAP HANA, S/4HANA, ECC, NetWeaver, and Fiori landscapes.Demonstrated ability in full lifecycle project execution, including implementation, migration, upgrades, and production support.Proficient with Solution Manager, transport management, performance monitoring, and patch lifecycle management. Sound understanding of OS and database environments (Linux/Windows), scripting (e.g., Bash, shell), and backup/recovery solutions.Strong expertise in security administrationauthorizations, SNC, SSO, certificate handling, and compliance practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to mentor peers effectively.Desired (Preferred) Skills & CertificationsSAP Basis certifications, such as NetWeaver 7.x, HANA Implementation & Administration, or Solution Manager.Exposure to cloud-based SAP deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid landscapes.
