Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Nutritional Screening: Coordinate nutritional risk screening of admitted patients as per hospital policy.2. Nutritional Assessment: Conduct detailed nutritional assessments of patients identified as being at nutritional risk.3. Therapeutic Diet Planning: Prepare individualized therapeutic diet plans in consultation with the treating physician.4. Clinical Diet Management: Plan diets for cardiac patients, diabetes, hypertension, renal disorders and other medical conditions.5. Patient Counselling: Educate patients and their families about dietary requirements, restrictions and healthy eating habits.6. Diet Prescription: Ensure diet plans are based on the treating physician's orders and documented in patient records.7. Diet Monitoring: Monitor patients' dietary intake, tolerance and compliance with prescribed diets.8. IPD & OPD Services: Provide nutritional consultation to admitted patients and OPD patients.9. Diet Kitchen Coordination: Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure correct preparation and timely distribution of prescribed diets.10. Food Safety: Ensure hygienic food handling, storage, preparation and distribution in coordination with the dietary/kitchen team.11. Documentation: Maintain nutritional assessment forms, diet charts, counselling records and diet-related registers.12. Multidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals for effective nutritional care.13. Patient Education: Provide dietary education at discharge and advise patients regarding follow-up nutrition requirements.14. Quality Improvement: Participate in internal audits, quality improvement activities and corrective actions related to dietary services.Educational Qualifications- B.Sc. in Nutrition & Dietetics / Food and Nutrition.- M.Sc. in Clinical Nutrition / Dietetics preferred.- Relevant professional qualification and competency as per hospital policy.Experience- 1-3 years of hospital experience preferred.- Knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diet planning.Required Competencies- Clinical nutritional assessment.- Therapeutic diet planning.- Patient counselling and communication.- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety.- Documentation and record maintenance.- Coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Role & responsibilities Candidates who can counsel the cardiac patients.Must have Internship/experience as dietician.Candidates must visit two clinics a day, Shift timings would be 10am to 1:30pm & 5pm to 8pm.Languages: English Hindi and regional language.
